I understand your squeamishness and wish I shared it. But in fiction I just don't. Part of it is transgression, and part of it is that I love that the "mythology" of my own relationship contains something just slightly out of the ordinary--and so building that up interests me.

It's pretty much incest-without-the-incest-taboo that comes from growing up together than interests me.
