I didn't mean that dark--I meant the being that far north kind, the shorter days business. I didn't realize when I moved here how much further north we are than where I grew up, in New Hampshire, but it's a significant difference. The "gloom" bothers me less than getting to work and leaving work in the dark. And I'm not even in Canada or Alaska!

I've gotten better, over the past four years. But I can certainly relate.
