I think this system definitely requires that each book--and reader--contain each of these factors in different proportions. So you need a large bit of character, and you need a smaller bit of Language, and you probably appreciate Story moving things along.

I'm still not sure if all this really means anything, or if it has application anywhere. But I think it's an interesting way to think about how we read things, and what we do with the things we read.
