Oh, Ceiling Cat, he is STILL HOT. But yeah, ugh. It's awfully discouraging. That was one of the few things I really did like about Inception--that Ken Watanabe's Saito was Japanese, but that it was just what he was, not the point of his character (and the orientalist fantasy Japan bits were clearly labeled as Cobb's dream, not Saito's). Because normally? Watanabe seems to get stuck with really appalling roles.
