Argento's POTO and some pretty funny links

First of all, anyone with an interest in Phantom of the Opera should run right over to tkp's journal and read her thinky thots on Dario Argento's version. It may come as a surprise, but I really love this one. Most of what I love about it is enumerated in her list. I know a lot of POTO people avoid this film on principal ("He's not even ugly! I heard there's rat!sex!") but despite its rather appalling features there's something really interesting about it, too.

So go read. I can't believe I live with this girl. Life is amazing.

Who doesn't love Argento? It's by far one of the most entertaining versions of POTO there is. Rats! Tiny ballet tarts in leg warmers! Fat Carlotta! IT'S GOLD!

(By the bye, I'm still waiting for you to write me up some Argento!Phanfiction that you promised me ages and ages ago.) *sniff*

I can't rightly remember the specifics. I just remember on my old Susanna Foster post that we started bemoaning the fact that there wasn't any 1943 fanfiction to be had, which then led to something along the lines of, "OMG! WHERE IS ALL THE ARGENTO FANFICTION AS WELL!?!?!"

Personally, if you're up for it, I'd like to see an E/R/R/C/C phic from you. (Erik, Rats, Raoul, Christine, Carlotta). That would be cracktastic, and I'd lust after you openly and shamelessly.

*lusts*
