I realized that my icons amuse me, and there are lots of Phantom ones, mostly irreverent. In order. I didn't used to have Photoshop, you know.

This one was about how no one remembers the Persian and in the 1925 movie he gets the name Ledoux but keeps his little hat.

They're both detectives! Get it? Everyone compares Erik and Holmes. But don't you think Holmes and the Daroga would get along?

Okay, this one is sappy. I was trying to comment on the Beauty and the Beast/Phantom/V for Vendetta throughline, at least fangirlishly.

This doesn't make a lot of sense. But Dance!Erik is so emo, and the deer is so awesome. I basically want this deer to be my reaction shot to everything. I want to add it to every icon.


carmarthen and I were talking about how there needs to be a fandom wide (or small fandom) lolfandom archive. They have them for everything else. Does anyone know of one?

I *loved* it as a teenager. It's really romantic, and Erik is totally emo. Now I still love it nostalgically, but it's funny, too.

That image started a whole discussion between tkp and me, about how we'd get Erik on the bottom. We still haven't written the fic, though.

Sounds interesting. The more control-oriented the person, the more they need at least one place, or activity, or situation where they don't have to be in control all the time. So it makes sense to me that being with the Persian could represent that for Erik.
