I absolutely have an obsessive personality, especially when it comes to books and fiction. I had no concept of "fandoms" until I became really involved with LiveJournal and reawakened my Holmes obsession, but even before that, I always had this voracious desire to read everything, see it all. Even in my job, which involves knowing A LOT about Ohio and especially authors from Ohio, sometimes I find myself having to just walk away. I will be at home talking to family members and will just start spouting off random facts at them. "Did you know that the first woman ever to run for president was from Ohio? Her name was Victoria Woodhull and she was born in...etc." Dude, they don't care.
