Phantom fiction

I'm not sure if any of you on my flist are interesting in Phantom fanfic and are not on phanwank, but if you fall into that category would you mind trotting over and filling out my little poll about ideas for a ficathon/exchange? yuletide inspired me, despite the fact I have a million other things to do.

If I'm not talking about politics, it's because I assume all of you who can, voted, and you've all been talking about it. I don't feel I have anything to add. I'll sorta miss this election, though, as it sort of gave a focus to many of my social interactions over the past months. But it will also be nice to figure out what else is going on in the world.

Hey, I had a question and comment regarding masked_ball.

I know that you said beta-ing isn't required but recommended, but maybe it would be a good idea to have a list of betas or ways to get a beta to encourage it since I'm guessing this will be the first time a lot of people have written fanfic especially for POTO.

Another thing is maybe you should have people also post in their comment for prompts that they are at least 18 or older so the LJ police don't come after you. (Since I'm sure there will be smut.)

Oh, a beta list is a good idea. I don't like requiring it, because I want to trust people to use their best judgment. But I absolutely see what you mean.

And I don't want to limit it to adults. There are a lot of younger fans out there whom I don't want to exclude. I need to look into what the LJ police have been up to lately, so thank you for the reminder.
