CDs FOR SALE!!
Announcing the debut cd from Mercy Brown, Fifteen Songs from Missing Children. Available on our website for $6 through Paypal. Or you can email me with your address etc.
But please--don't buy just to make me happy. Go listen on our website, on last.fm or on MySpace. The $6 is to defray the duplication/shipping costs, as this is a "real" cd.
But if you're poor or something, I'll take compromising photos in lieu of cash.
And in case you don't know why this is a big deal, this is the band I've been in for several years now, playing keyboard/piano and singing. Mr. A wrote the songs and plays guitar/keyboard/lead vocals.
And we rock.

/why do all the bands I like live in other parts of the world

Where do you live, if I might ask? And it doesn't matter much, as half of us Mercy Brownies live on the other side of the country.

The sad part is, the "computer speakers" are actually the old JBLs from before the real stereo got moved upmarket. They stand about 3.5' tall and sit on top of the desk. The audio limiter is really just the soundcard. (AND IT'S TOTAL SHITE, I TELL YOU)

Never been to northern CO. Attended a wedding in Colorady Springs, once--beautiful country. Saw a little of Denver. Like the airport. Unimpressed. But CP? Gorgeous. Though I don't ski, so I've never been where you are.

I'm fond of Fort Collins (my current town); it's no San Francisco, or anything, but it's got enough going on, and there's more park acreage per capita than anyplace other than possibly Alaska. I just learned to ski this past winter (or, rather, I learned to *fall down*, which is nearly as much fun, it turns out). If I'd been compelled to walk through much of the white fluffy stuff I'd have probably invented skis, too.

Yeah, I "grew up" (well, attended 3rd-10th grades) in New Hampshire, and yet never learned to ski. Guess it wasn't a necessary expense or something?
