i may as well sign up for dogster, now...

#I just realized I'm feeding Mr. Darcy all natural free-range chicken strips. For dogs.

#It's time to go through the cd collection again and put everything in the right cases. You have no idea how much I wanted to listen to Joseph Arthur's Big City Secrets right now. But it's roughly equal to how disappointed I am that I can't.

#I got birthday money. But I've suddenly become old and responsible, and I can't rationalize spending it on presents for myself. Because I do that all the time, don't I?

#The best bit of last week's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me: Upon quoting Bush saying he's "the commander guy," someone said, "Do you ever get the feeling Stan Lee's scripting this entire administration?" Excelsior, True Believers!

#There is entirely too much waiting in my life right now. No word on house or auditions. That's on top of general anxiety over hiking for 5 days next week and book proposals.

#Embarrassing fact: I've been listening to 70's soft rock. I have no idea why, except that it was probably what I heard most growing up, so now I feel all squishy and nostalgic. Don't tell anyone.

#This video of a dancing horse is awesome. Yes, I know it's called dressage. But still! It's cool! Thanks to... was it [livejournal.com profile] synaesthete7?

#If I was either more clever or less lazy, I'd have bolded words or letters to spell a message to you. But I am not either of those things.

#The fact that there are Japanese girls doing Phantom in drag is just about the most awesome thing ever.

#The phone rang while I was typing this. It was not a casting director or a real estate agent. It was my best friend, so that was cool. But come on!

I didn't even realize this existed until someone pointed it out on phanwank. Holy shmoly, was I tickled! I'm not that big of a Y/K fan (movie or musical) but I tells ya, that whole Takarazuka production really got me goobery.

X-ing fingers you'll hear good news from a casting director or a real estate agent soon!

why u here

Because you are so cute!

Dogs need meet, that is good.

Self-presents! What do you want?

I'm so glad you're doing the hiking trip!

70s soft rock scares me.

Japanese girl POTO: thatphantomissooooooohotomg. Omg.

I hope you get a callback, and that you are able to work out a way to go back there. And I do disagree with the "want you enough...", to an extent. So much of theatre, just like writing, is about fate and coincidence and who's available when, and stuff that sucks, instead of who's best and most talented.

OMG good luck on the house!

Of course you need to own a house Ms D. 'tis an achievement really or maybe another word... equity heh

Spend b-day money on you, you, you!

an alarming number of '70s tunes are pretty weird (...gimme, gimme, gimme dat ding...) heh

Sometimes when I put on my semiotician hat, or am feeling cavalier and decide to be a lingustic sort of fellow but not a cryptanalyst, I can be good at locating secret signs and symbols in language, esp if they contain specific agendas or messages of some sort.

I buy my dog Chicken Chips. Ingredients: chicken. Way healthier than anything else he eats, and he goes batshit when I get the bag out.

I am SO HAPPY I bought a place, I can't even tell you. I also hadn't really planned on it, but it worked out divinely. It's a great feeling!

My car radio sekritly has the 70's lite station pre-programmed. And if you punch that button I will tell you I haven't programmed it. Because it is my little sekrit. I roll up the windows even. No one must know!

Takarazuka shows up all over my f-list, enough that I'm getting pretty interested...

I M HEER BC UR FUN & U LIKE LAWRENCE.

totally *don't* keep the station on when "I'm Not In Love" or "Sister Golden Hair" comes on. Nope. Not me. (I also don't roll up the windows and sing along.)

Me either! And when Dave Mason sings "We Just Disagree" I always express my horror and disgust by immediately cranking the volume! ---changing the channel! I mean I immediately change the channel!

Because I lurve u.

Anyway, I've been listening to America and Don McLean. Don't talk to me about embarrassing music choices. ;)
