double that on for Englund's and I was more engrossed with Argento's than Webber's.

10 OMG I still have all of my ponies and if I had been 12 when I developed my Phantom obsession, someone would have totally had to buy me those.

I've gone back and forth several times between Erik and other fandoms, and this is the longest I've beeen on it (from about 2003/2004 to present with no signs of stopping).

I've been known to have some of the strangest stories involving a Lerouxish Erik in my fanfic (never anything "normal").

I correct people in real life when it comes to The Phantom of the Opera.

Sometimes I wish someone would write a really good Doctor Who/Phantom of the Opera crossover.

I second that. It just seems like there would be so much potential for a good story in there (like Erik meets Sherlock Holmes, but better). Plus, with the time-travel aspect, it'd make far more sense than about 90% of the other PotO/blank crossovers. (I still don't understand how the cast of RENT ended up in the 1890s...)

I've seen a couple of Quantum Leap/Beauty and the Beast crossovers (one of which was surprisingly well written), so it should be possible -- although I'm scratching my head what sort of plot there would be for Doctor Who/POTO. With Quantum Leap thought it was always the rather clichéd 'righting what once went wrong' which seems to be the theme of about half of the phanbrats' stories on fanfic.com.
