I'm glad! I wish I had more/better photos. A lot of the butterfly ones were badly focused; sometimes it's hard to tell on those little screens.

I cannot name nay of the butterflies. I was too busy photographing them to learn anything.

Thank you! And yes, it was rather dramatic. He just fell over and twitched a lot.

And yes, that is an owl butterfly. I asked tkp, who knows these things.

Ugh, I'm so jealous, most of my pictures came out blurry because I have to breath and push a button, or too dark because I attempted to raise shutter speed to lessen the effect of camera shake. Blargh!

You will, eventually, have a much nicer camera. I am sure of this. And in the meantime, we can go back sometime with the monopod and/or shutter release. But I'm sad you didn't have much luck.
