Well, it's only been, what? Five years?

I miss fandom. I miss discussing things I love (and don't) in a somewhat civilized way. I miss creating stuff to share. I miss all of it, and I keep trying to get onto tumblr and keep realizing it's not giving me the interaction I want.

This won't, either, but if anyone's out there listening and knows where anything's happening, would you let me know you're still alive?

Heaven only knows! Dreamwidth continues much as it ever did, despite Tumblr.

I... am trying to figure out what fandom we originally had in common. Was it X-Files? I don't see so many people posting about it these days, apart from wendelah_1.

For the last year and a half or so I've been really into Yuri on Ice. And I just took up cycling. Those are probably the key fannish points. :)

You know what, that's not true. Even back when I was on here, everything was still on LJ and people were mostly refusing to move over here.

Hey, I read your post (never mind it was months ago) and was thinking I could have written it. I miss fandom too, and Ive never got into Tmblr either. This is Tango btw, aka tangofiction - pretty sure I remember you from the uh, glory days (or rosy hours?) of LJ and maybe Aria, the Phantom forum. The nearest thing to the phandom I've found is a Facebook group, Phantom of the Opera fans, but it's a bit thin on the discussion front and not a lot of interest in fanfic. Ah well. I returned to working on "A Solo for the Living" a couple of years back, so that's my fix/phics for now.
