So. Moment of decision--what to wear for the gig?

It comes down to what sort of band I am/want to be in. And what place I have in it. Am I one of the guys (jeans, t-shirt)? The Girl (dress)? A bit sexy (um... skirt? fishnets?)? Cute? Schoolboy (you know, with the tie)? Do I stand out, or blend in? Am I a person in a rock band, or a girl in a rock band?

And don't tell me boy rockers don't go through this process, too. It's just that the ones I know have fewer options in their closets.
