Last week, I went to Hawaii for the first time--Oahu, to be exact, the North Shore to be more so--for the wedding of some friends of ours. Unfortunately, the governor of said state vetoed the law that was going to allow them to do so legally, but they did it anyway and it was a gorgeous ceremony. Also a beautiful place.

Unlike, apparently, everyone else I was with, I do not want to move there (there's a reason or two I left Florida). And I didn't take as many photos as I'd have liked, and I take fewer than I used to in general, and I wonder if I've fallen out of love with it. (In more general, I find myself far too lazy to take enough photos/keep a journal and I regret it even as I am not sure how to curb it. I came back wanting to talk all about what we did there and it seems so difficult now.) ANYWAY, here are a few I took, mostly not of people you don't know but I couldn't resist a couple, of course.
